Protein Hummus Dip Recipe

Hummus is one of our favorite things. EVER! Did you know that you can make it even more awesome by adding a scoop of the Plant Protein Mix? Adds a lot of protein, as well as valuable nutrients, fiber and all the good stuff!

The blend of rice and pea protein, maca, banana and lucuma contains all essential amino acids and 60% highly absorbable protein.

This easy hummus dip tastes amazing with veggie sticks, on toast or on top of your lunch salad!

PROTEIN HUMMUS DIP

Ingredients:

• 2 tbsp Plant Protein Mix

• 1 can chickpeas

• 1-2 garlic cloves

• ½ lemon, juiced

• 3 tbsp tahini

• salt and pepper, to taste


Directions:

  1. Drain the chickpeas, reserving the liquid.
  2. Blend all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender or food processor until smooth (Adding 1 tbsp chickpea liquid as needed to achieve desired consistency.)
  3. Transfer to a bowl and enjoy with crackers or veggies.

SUPER TIP: Add 2 tsp Golden Mellow Mix for a calming and anti-inflammatory hummus!
